DESCRIPTION
Join Rabbinic Intern Adina, Rachel, and Izzy for a night of delicious food and bite-sized Torah study at the Weitzman. We plan to serve a dairy-filled dinner in celebration of Shavuot. For our Torah study, we ask that everyone chooses 1-2 verses (sentences) of Torah before the event that relate to their lives – whether it be their hobbies, their values, their job/school, etc. During the program, everyone will have a few minutes to teach their verse of Torah to small groups and explain how it relates to their life! If you don’t have time to prepare or don’t know where to begin to prep your verse, we will have plenty available at the event that you can choose from. On Sefaria, you can search by topic to find a verse that speaks to you!
